Read MoreThe Taylor Square Public Art Program invited artists to develop temporary projects and installations that would transform the area from a busy intersection into a creative hub. The program ran over five years from 2009 to 2013 and supported a wide range of dynamic and diverse projects.
It created opportunities for artists, workers and visitors to the area to explore historical and cultural issues including sustainability, gay and lesbian rights, urban planning and the experience of public space.
